EQUAL DAY, EQUAL NIGHT Monday...3 days BEFORE the Vernal EQUINOX this Thursday.  And IN THE FALL, it typically occurs 3 days AFTER the Autumnal EQUINOX.  You can thank, in part, the curvature of the Earth for that fun fact.
